The LISTEN! Series is Stone Soup Storytelling Institute’s signature year-round program, designed to spark meaningful conversations rooted in history, culture, and lived experience.

Each year we select a theme that guides a collection of events—story circles, expert talks, open mics, hands-on experiences, arts programs, and community gatherings.
For our LISTEN! events we select topics of interest and cultivate conversations and stories that will help us understand
history and cultures- many other worldly experiences.
Topics of interest that will set conversations and discussions in motion that we may learn more about each other and
see that we have more connections than we assume or imagine.
Our attendees confirm that our programs have succeeded in our intent. Listening enhances understanding, builds
relationships, supports learning and growth, and improves rapport and trust.
 

Our mission is simple: to listen deeply so we can better understand one another. Through carefully curated topics, we invite storytellers, tradition-bearers, historians, culture keepers, and everyday residents to share experiences that remind us how connected we truly are.
